The Cottage

The Cottage has two separate bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Both bathrooms have a walk-in shower, the one upstairs also comes with a freestanding bathtub.

The downstairs ‘Garden Room’ has a king size bed which can be transformed into two separate XL-twin beds; the upstairs ‘Glacier View Room’ has a queen size bed; a futon can be added upon request.

The size of the fully equipped
deluxe kitchen, dining and living area (with additional bathroom) makes The Cottage best suited for families or befriended parties of two to five people. However, it is not suited for family reunions or events.

The Cottage is a 100% non-smoking environment, does not allow pets, and is television-free! However, we offer free high speed internet access and a radio/audio player which also plays your personal device.

The Garden

We welcome our guests to enjoy our lush garden with its vast variety of wildflowers and fruit trees. Feel free to move the garden furniture to any preferred place to read a book, or relax on the quiet beach with its stunning views across the lake and of Valhalla Provincial Park.

Enjoy a mild summer 's evening on the patio, and challenge your friends to a game of boccia.

There are times when black bears and other wildlife come to our garden, mostly during the fruit season. Do not be scared but keep a safe distance and treat all of them with respect!

We love our garden and are looking forward to sharing it with you, too!

The Lake

Slocan Lake is unusually pristine, its water so clear and clean that it has drinking water quality! To maintain the preciously peaceful and wild nature of our lake, we encourage our guests to remain from bringing their noisy speed boats or jet skis and, instead, experience this jewel by canoe, kayak or any kind of quiet watercraft.

We also rent out kayaks, and can take you on guided tours to most magical and memorable places.

And, yes, the lake provides food such as rainbow trout, Dolly Varden and the Kokanee if you want to bring your fishing rod.
