Surrounded by three provincial parks

- the Valhallas, the Kokanee Glacier and the Goat Range - we enjoy stunning alpine hiking, skiing and world-class mountain bike trails. Our area also provides excellent road riding, and canoeing or kayaking on the crystal clear

New Denver is also the home of the annual  'Hills Garlic Festival' and one of the 'Kootenay Suffer Fest' venues, both

 

 

 

 

events taking place in early September.
